Van Grimde Corps Secrets
SOLD OUT !
In an era of constantly evolving virtualization, Isabelle Van Grimde plunges her dancers into an interactive visual environment driven by a musical score performed live onstage.
This intriguing universe, where reality and fiction merge together, gives rise to astonishing visions – a silhouette splits in two, a face becomes older or younger, a body blurs, pixelated until it dissolves completely. And who are the children sharing the stage with the adults? Are they alive, or sprits emanating from another era?
Isabelle Van Grimde questions fluctuating states of identity, the perception of the body and its evolution. A thousand and one stories blend together in an overlapping of epochs, weaving the fabric of this eerily poetic dreamlike work.
