relay belongs to those audacious and non-orthodox choreographic experiments that could only have been created by Ame Henderson. Following the 2010 edition of the Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis, Agora de la danse now has the pleasure of presenting the Montreal premiere of her new show. A group of seven dancers and two musicians coming from various fields must meet the challenge of dancing, creating and interacting together despite their many differences. Each performer attempts to find his place in this community from which emerges a world under construction, full of doubt and hesitation.  In this creative chaos, a relay dynamic establishes itself in the bodies, echoing the music. An intense and interactive performance exploring the subtle characteristics of group life with humour and intelligence.
