Marie-Claude Poulin and Martin Kusch invite you to take part in an extraordinary experience: a multi-sensory evening in which you will witness a gripping performance while savouring original culinary creations specifically conceived according to the themes of the piece.
Presented at the Satosphère – an immersive space, complete with a culinary lab – Intérieur combines an amazing audio-visual environment, a dance show, and tasty pleasures. The piece presents a woman in her three-dimensional mental space, a world of attractions and repulsions, of equilibrium and vertigo. Inside this dome, which is submerged in 360-degree panoramic projections, the images and voices storm the audience members. Marie-Claude Poulin plays a multi-faceted character, a woman whose body is dismembered and exploited. Her potential to reinvent and reconstruct herself is revealed. During this feast of troubling images and perceptions, guest performers will lead the audience into a strange dining game. The very first show of its kind in Canada, Intérieur is a peculiar performance piece in an exciting new-media environment.
