Looking for some light to brighten this long winter? L’Agora and Tangente invite you to participate in our festive and imaginative benefit wholly dedicated to contemporary creation.
Because we believe that today’s creations are tomorrow’s heritage!
A bold and entertaining program themed around light to support contemporary dance creators and the Dance Against Violence project.
By participating in this event or making a donation, you help choreographers and dancers access long-term artistic residencies and ensure that their work can be showcased in optimal conditions. You’ll be contributing to the emergence of local creators and accompanying them in their growth.
Your participation also helps rehabilitate women who are survivors of domestic violence. Every year, we give part of the donations we collect to the Dance Against Violence project, which offers movement workshops that empower women to regain control of their bodies. More than 250 workshops have already been given in five Montreal shelters.
