This Privacy Policy describes the current policies and practices of Agora de la danse (“Agora”, “we”, “our”) with respect to the collection, use and retention of personal information that we collect directly from you through our promotional and administrative tools (such as our website, newsletter, ticketing—in person, online, or by telephone, our online donation system, surveys and social media, hereinafter, the “Tools”) or your use of the Tools.

P-39.1) and other applicable laws and standards regarding the collection, storage, use, disclosure and protection of personal information, and their access.
For the purposes of this Policy, “personal Information” means any information about an individual that allows that individual to be identified directly or indirectly, such as their mailing address, email address, telephone number and any medical or financial information.
Collection of personal information
When you use the Tools, depending on the circumstances, we may collect the following personal information about you:
- gender, last name, first name;
- language of correspondence;
- contact information such as mailing address, email address, and telephone number;
- purchase, donation, and payment information (including payment card number, expiration date, and CVV code);
- subscription data (both for our events and newsletters);
- data relating to your use of any or all our Tools (including content consumption, preferences, orders or textual data, location data) from the IP address;
- and statistical data provided by analytics applications for our website, social networks, and mailing service providers.
The personal information we collect is collected by us or our service providers through forms and through the interactivity established between you and our Tools. We also use, as indicated in the following sections, cookies and/or log files as well as information provided on our social networks.
We collect, use, and communicate your personal information mainly by the following means: ticketing (online, on site, or by telephone), donation system, subscription to the newsletter, social networks, correspondence with users.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes, whether through our Tools or third-party services:
- to make a reservation or purchase when you buy tickets for shows and events or products and services we offer and to inform you about them;
- to customize the service;
- to establish and confirm your identity;
- to respond to your requests for information, to deliver the products and services, to maintain the quality of our customer service, and to prevent fraud;
- to target your needs, interests and preferences, and to inform you of our programming, as well as news, services, benefits, products and goods that may be of interest to you;
- for statistical and marketing purposes;
- to manage our websites, social networks, and ticketing;
- for any other purposes permitted or required by law.
Information Related to Browser Cookies and Other Technologies
Cookies
We use browser cookies to improve the performance of our Tools and your experience. Cookies are small files stored in a file maintained by your web browser by the server on which the Tools are located or by third-party servers that allow a user to be recognized by the Tools and customize their content.
Technical cookies, which may also sometimes be referred to as HTML cookies, are used for navigation and to facilitate your access to and use of the Tools. When you arrive on the website, we will ask you for your consent for cookies via a pop-up window that requires an affirmative click when new users arrive on the Site (consent valid for up to 6 months).

- analyzing your behaviour on our Tools so that we can continue to improve them.
Analytical or statistical services may collect information, such as:

- the originating (referring) and exiting web page;
- interactions with page content, emails, and social networks;
- the origin of your visit.
We do not use this information to identify you, but rather to understand usage patterns of our Tools and improve our services.
Information Provided on Social Networks
We collect information transmitted by social networking sites or applications when a visitor interacts with profiles owned or controlled by us on these social networking platforms. These sites or applications are governed by their own policies relating to your personal information that may be different from ours and may also be applicable.
If you choose to interact with us through these social networks, you should first read the terms of service and privacy policies of those service providers and the applications used to access them.
Hosting of Personal Information
For the duration of the use of the Tools, your personal information may be transferred, processed, and stored outside of Québec or Canada, including in the United States, through cloud services offered to us by the providers.
How Long We Keep Personal Information
We will retain in our computer systems all the personal information collected for as long as you use the Tools.
Security
The personal information we collect is kept in a secure environment. People working for us are required to respect the confidentiality of your information. To ensure the security of your personal information, we use the following measures:

- Access management—authorized person;
- Access management—data subject;
- Network monitoring software;
- Computer backup;
- Firewalls.
We are committed to maintaining a high level of privacy by incorporating best practices to ensure the confidentiality of your transactions. However, since no mechanism offers perfect security, there is always a degree of risk involved when using the Internet to transmit personal information.
We ensure that the providers involved meet the requirements of the Webtrust certification program.
Unwanted Messages
We comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding unsolicited electronic messages (spam). If you no longer wish to receive electronic communications from us or if you feel that you have received an inappropriate or unwanted communication, please follow the unsubscribe mechanism found in our emails.
We may, however, still contact our users regarding their orders, requests for information or personal information, all in accordance with applicable laws.

The Privacy Officer is responsible for determining the purposes and means of the processing of personal information.
The Privacy Officer undertakes to protect the personal information collected, not to transmit it to third parties without you having been specifically informed or through this policy and to respect the purposes for which this information was collected.
In addition, the Privacy Officer undertakes to notify you in the event of rectification or deletion of personal information unless this would entail disproportionate formalities, costs, or steps for us.
If the integrity, confidentiality, or security of your personal information is compromised, the Privacy Officer will notify you by any commercially reasonable means.
Right of Objection and Withdrawal
We are committed to providing you with the right to object and withdraw regarding your personal information.
The right to object is understood to be the possibility offered to Internet users to refuse that their personal informationbe used for certain purposes identified at the time of collection.
The right of withdrawal is understood to be the possibility offered to Internet users to request that their personal information no longer appear, for example, in our records.
We are also committed to granting a right of access and rectification or withdrawal to the persons concerned wishing to consult, modify or even delete their own information.

The Tools may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites (“Third-Party Sites”) that may take you away from the Tools. We provide these hyperlinks to enhance the usability of our Tools. The Third-Party Sites are not under our control. As such, we have no control over the privacy and confidentiality practices of Third-Party Sites. Therefore, any personal information that is transmitted through Third-Party Sites is subject to the privacy policy of those Third-Party Sites. Please also note that this Policy does not cover personal information collected by the device (or its manufacturer) from which you use the Tools.
