PLOMB

After Foutrement and Complexe des genres where Virginie Brunelle demonstrated her mastery of the art of raw romance, intertwining with precision the vigour and spirit of body and soul, comes PLOMB. It is written large and measured in tonnes. In this new work, she calls on nine dancers to evoke the weight of absence felt after having tasted the fullness of love, the magic of two together. Feelings, attachments and smiles suddenly slide through our fingers, leaving us at the end alone with their memories, irreversible. Virginie Brunelle then extends her gaze to shed light on all the grief and mourning that day after day reduce the heart to ashes. The universal scope of the theme, combined with her undeniable talent for staging, results in a cry of passion, of ferociously tender poetry.
