Miniatures

27 - 1 Mar 2013

Compagnie Flak

Initially presented in 2008 at Agora de la danse, Miniatures was a resounding success that left a strong impression. José Navas wished to revive the piece, which has become an important part of his repertoire. It is a return to his origins for an artist who is renewing his passion for the solo in a piece that reveals all the nuances and subtleties of a mature dancer. Exposing the fragility of the soloist baring his soul, this seasoned stage performer invites the audience to an intimate encounter with the artist and the man in an inventive recounting of his personal life and loves. An intimate diary consisting of seven short solos set to diverse musical pieces, this highly romantic presentation is a touching and invigorating expression of love.
