In this new work at the crossroads of street dance and contemporary dance, Ismaël Mouaraki presents five strangers in a common public space. They collide into each other, are transposed and transported as they plunge into an emotional whirlwind. Everything hinges on the perception of oneself and the other, for each has his own body language and particular cultural and social identity.

In Lien(s), each dancer embodies a fictional character with distinctive characteristics. Establishing contact through dance, the characters draw a social and cultural portrait of our times. Who we are overlaps with who we appear to be, presenting a glimpse at the multiple possibilities of the body.
