Dance games, spectator workshops, meet-the-artists encounters: Agora’s dance day camp offers children an immersion into the world of live performance! Under the guidance of professional artists and educators, various workshops allow the children to playfully discover the path leadingfrom dance school to the professional stage by way of the rehearsal studio.

Example of a typical day:
Morning: A fun yoga session with choreographer Emmalie Ruest – Snack – A workshop led by dancer “7Starr”a pioneer of the Canadian Krump scene.
Afternoon: Studio visit with the Grands Ballets Canadiens
Drawing/poster workshop on the mythical dancer Nijinsky – Snack – Dance game: improv match
There will also be a costume workshop, a lighting workshop, rehearsals and a discussion with a resident artist, etc.
An educator will accompany the children all day to assist the artists-facilitators during the workshops.
