Pleasure Dome

Pleasure Dome is a site devoted to pleasure, a place where time is suspended and reality forgotten. This dubious universe is inhabited by six performers who trade tips on how to better move, stir and arouse the self and others in the search for the absolute, for escape and disorder. Combining dance and performance, the choreographer and dancer Karine Denault joins with two dancers and the musicians of the group K.A.N.T.N.A.G.A.N.O., to whom she has given carte blanche. In this ecosystem on the fringe of society, bodies are in exaltation to the point of oblivion and transformation, subject to bewitching soundscapes and the contagious pleasure of movement. A sensitive work marked by the distinctive choreography of Karine Denault, like a dream Pleasure Dome flouts the accepted order of things.
