Agora de la danse + Maison Verso
We’re wrapping up our 35th anniversary with an immersive experience where wine tasting and live performance come together! Guided by sommelier Anaïs Marchand-Favreau and accompanied by four performers, guests discover a unique dialogue between wine and dance.
Each wine, selected by Oenopole, is served alongside a choreographic sequence, creating a sensory experience where movement evokes the aromas, textures, and nuances of each wine. Seated comfortably, guests can sip and take in this meeting of two art forms in a space transformed into a temporary landscape of wine.
An inviting opportunity to discover wine and dance in a new way, whether on your own, with friends, or with colleagues.
Oenopole is a Montreal-based wine agency founded on a simple conviction: wine is food, and it deserves to be protected from industrialization. In 2024, it became the first wine agency in Quebec to earn B Corp certification. Oenopole represents artisanal winemakers who work naturally, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, crafting wines that express their terroir with integrity.
By championing regenerative practices and sharing the stories of the producers it supports, Oenopole has become a key force for change in the transformation of Quebec’s wine industry.
Located in Montreal’s Wilder Building since 2017, Agora de la danse is Quebec’s first permanent venue dedicated specifically to contemporary dance. For over 30 years, it has played a leading role in the creation and presentation of contemporary dance in Montreal.
Beyond providing a stage for dance and its audiences, Agora supports ambitious artistic projects through co-productions, welcomes artists in residence, and works with choreographers over the long term. It also offers a wide range of public activities designed to deepen understanding of choreographic art and make it more accessible to all.
Maison Verso is a Montreal-based creative agency that supports artistic projects from their earliest ideas to their encounter with audiences. Here, ideas are shaped like bodies in motion: with rigor, precision, and a sense of rhythm that carries them forward without ever losing connection.
Rooted in dance and the performing arts, Maison Verso brings together administration, production, touring and distribution, communications, and public relations under one roof. Balancing expertise with accessibility, Maison Verso champions projects that embrace virtuosity while remaining open, grounded, and alive. Projects that reach audiences with generosity and emotion.
La Grive is a contemporary dance company founded by Clémentine Maubon and Bastien Lefèvr, in 2019, in the Pays de la Loire region of France. After eighteen years performing for numerous choreographers, both artists have worked across a range of artistic worlds and developed their own independent creations. They eventually decided to join forces to share their skills and ideas, and to pursue the creation and presentation of dance works and performances together.
From their very first project, they have explored the body in its deepest dimensions as a way of reflecting on the individual, their inner tensions, their search for balance, and their relationship with others.
