Un environnement sécuritaire
Dear Spectators and Friends of Agora,
For this new season and given the special context of the past few months, we wish to extend a warm welcome to those coming to our venue. Rest assured that we will be most attentive to the safety and well-being of one and all.
To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for our visitors, and for the well-being and security of the artists and our staff, we have reduced our seating capacity to 41 seats and have implemented health and safety measures in our performance venues. Here are the answers to questions you may have in that regard.
You must wear a mask as you enter, move through and leave the Wilder Building. Once seated and as the performance gets underway, you can remove it if you wish. If you do, before leaving your seat at the end of the show be sure to put on your mask.
We encourage spectators to purchase tickets online or by phone. The box office will be open, however, from Wednesday to Saturday from 12 noon to 6 p.m., and will remain open for 30 minutes after a performance begins. Contactless payment is strongly recommended.
You can purchase a ticket for a single seat or tickets for two adjoining seats. The purchase of tickets for adjacent seats is only allowed for spectators who are part of a small group (friends, family). Electronic tickets are preferred and will be sent to you by e-mail.
This year, in order to limit movement within our venues we have numbered the seats. You must select a numbered seat when purchasing your ticket.
Our reimbursement policy has been relaxed, allowing you to get a ticket refund at any time up to 3 p.m. on the day of the performance.
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes in advance. Late arrivals are not permitted and latecomers are not entitled to a ticket refund.
Yes! There are a limited number of seats available for people with reduced mobility. Please convey that information to the box office when purchasing your ticket to ensure a good seat.
Our staff will welcome you and guide you to the performance venue. Follow the foot traffic indications posted in the building and maintain a distance of 2 metres from other spectators and from staff.
In response to directives issued by public health authorities, we have reduced our seating capacity to 41 spectators in order to maintain a distance of 2 metres between you and others not in your household. That means that only people who purchased tickets as a household (same ticket transaction) may sit next to each other without physical distancing.
Audience members will exit the venue gradually, in accordance with instructions from Agora personnel.
The evening program will only be available online.
Rest assured that all common spaces (lobby, box office, staircases, café-bar, washrooms) and all seats and items of furniture will be rigorously disinfected before and after your visit. In addition, several disinfectant gel stations are located throughout the building.
The cloakroom and beverage service at the Café-Bar remain unavailable until further notice.
A Shared Responsibility
Any spectator with possible symptoms of COVID-19 or who has been in contact with anyone diagnosed as a person infected with the virus (consult the Santé publique du Québec website) should refrain from coming to Agora to see a show. If that is the case, contact the box office (514 525-1500) and you will be reimbursed for your ticket(s).
